WOYWW 246

I know this does look like a busy desk but truth is i've not done a lot recently apart from the Moleskine notebook at bottom of picture.

I've been glueing pages together to make them thicker and stronger for my art journaling, tedious but also strangely relaxing. And i've made use of my lovely new storage boxes by cutting out heaps of images from old magazines. As i'm no good at drawing i like to use cut outs on my pages and doodle, paint, stencil etc from there.

The tags on my laptop are ones i made using my lovely Gelli plate a while ago but thought I'd show them to you now as they were in my boxes.   Yes, okay i hold my hands up! The photo is staged for your benefit, but im sure you'd rather see them than a boring old empty desk wouldnt you?

Now i'm off to work annoyingly (why does life have to get in the way of crafting all the time) but when i get back i'll be round to visit some less fake desks (blushes)
Why don't you join me and pop over to Julia's blog to nosy round yourself.

Have a good week all

Gill xx

  1. Oh, we are a pair - I, too, have a journal that needs pages glueing, and I can't draw either. Just this morning ripped out a bunch of images from the Sunday paper glossies. We are on the same WOYWW wavelength....

    :)

    An early Happy WOYWW!

  8. Love the tags, glorious colours. I am intending to make myself a gelli plate, to see how much use it gets, before I spend money on one. Have a great week, hugs Shaz #38 xx

  13. Your tags are amazing. I so love to make all of my own backgrounds. No matter how nice bought papers are nothing beats your own creations. To start with a blank canvas and see what you create on it.
    You are very creative.

  18. i adore the colors of those tags. Such beauty and so well done. I can tell you have a real eye for color. I'm like you. I couldn't draw if my life depended on it, so I rely on magazine images, book drawings, dictionary pages, and the like, too. I'm running late visiting from Julia's this week because of more power outages, this time accompanied by loss of my phone and internet. Happy belated WOYWW from #3.
